American Truck Simulator (or abbreviated ATS ) is a video game simulation truck . It was unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 (E3 2015), although it was first announced in September 2013. The game was released on February 2, 2016 and has sold over 280,000 copies since April 2016.

In the game, players drive trucks and deliver goods towed at a designated location to be compensated with money and experience points. The payload must be given to the location quickly within a given period of time and with the least amount of damage to the goods, in order to get the most money and experience points possible.

The game started at launch with the states of California and Nevada, and spread from there, with the addition of Arizona in May 2016 as part of an open and free beta. In February 2017, the addition of New Mexico was also announced. The developer is expected to add more US states. UU. (And parts of Mexico and Canada) in the future.

SCS Software announced for the first time on September 6, 2013, 2 and was revealed at E3 2015. 3

On April 11, 2014, SCS Software announced that there will be more than 100 cities in the game, and to date has released several screenshots of the game progress. SCS plans to include the entire continent of North America and more than 100 cities to explore.
