The Thing is a video game type of survival horror . He takes the plot of the film of the same name . This game was released in 2002 on Xbox , PlayStation 2 and PC .

The game starts at US Outpost 31 in Antarctica , some time after the events of the film. A team of US special forces arrived to investigate both in the camp of the United States and the camp Norwegian nearby. Captain JF Blake (played by Per Solli) is the leader of Team Beta, which investigates the US camp, while Alpha team investigates the Norwegian camp under the command of Captain Pierce. Both teams are under the overall command of Colonel Whitley ( William B. Davis) Which is in communication with them by radio. However, it then meets Whitley, who shoots him with a tranquilizer gun and Faraday reveals that he himself was infected with the gene of it, saying it is controllable and is living proof of his ability as a weapon. Blake learns that Whitley was responsible for the entire operation and has himself injected with a strain of the virus known as “Cloud Virus B4” in an attempt to cure his terminal cancer.
