Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is a video game visual novel released on July 20, 2017 for PC and Mac . The game was published and developed by Game Grumps, being written by Vernon Shaw and Leighton Gray.

Dream Daddy is a visual novel interactive where the player can choose from seven different fathers for dating. Mini-games are included to be complete, multiple endings and voice acting done by the members of the developer Game Grumps . The player can customize the look of your character.

The game follows a single and lonely father who just moved to Maple Bay with her daughter. On the street where he lives, most parents are unmarried and the player has the option to relate to them. Parents available for relationship are Matt, Craig, Hugo, Brian, Damien, Robert and Joseph.

On July 14, 2017 it was announced that the game’s release would be delayed due to the discovery of some last minute defects, and lose its original release date of July 13, 2017. The launch received a new date of July 19 2017, but delayed again. The game finally came out on July 20, 2017.

Criticism about the game were quite mixed. While the game currently has an average score of 67.75% on GameRankings based on 8 reviews and a score of 70 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 10 reviews, the user reviews on Metacritic put the game a score of 8.0 / 10 with based on 71 reviews. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] In addition, the Steam currently lists receiving the game as “very positive” based on 1400 reviews.
