Shogo: Mobile Armor Division or just Shogo (also known as Shogo: MAD) is a game of first – person shooters and science fiction , developed by Monolith in 1998 . The game is mainly characterized by the use of giant robots ( rovings ) and its great influence of anime. In addition there are two kinds of missions, missions aboard a robot and missions on foot. Throughout the game and on several occasions we will consider decisions that will change subsequent events, levels, and the endgame. The title also has the ability to switch between a First Person Shooter Shooter to a third person.

In the near future, humanity made a discovery in a nearby planet to our solar system, which is a form of so pure and powerful energy, which used correctly allow travel at the speed of light through space, and moving machinery without polluting and emitting waste, this energy was called “Kato”.

Sanjuro Makabe a commander of the UCA (United Corporate Authority), an expert pilot MCA (giant robots) and great fighter with guns. A year later, Sanjuro able to recover the disappearance of his beloved and his friends, seeking solace Kura’s sister, Kathryn, with whom he is dating. The game begins with the escape of a planet on which you have set a trap, without knowing why.

Sanjuro Makabe : The protagonist of the game. Kura Akkaraju : Previous Sanjuro girlfriend allegedly Kura died in a terrorist attack before the events of the game. As a result, she is alive, having been investigating as an undercover spy. Kura resurfaces halfway through the game, revealing key information about the true nature of the Fallen to Sanjuro, and helping him in his mission.

Admiral Akkaraju : The leader of the forces of UCA in Cronos, and the father of Kathryn and Kura. Admiral has a terrible hatred of the fallen, allegedly because of the death of Kura. However, he knew that Kura was alive. Therefore, their hard behavior and its final decision to commit genocide against the people of Cronos is something inexplicable.

Hank Johnson : Friend of Kura, Hank is a citizen of Cronos, which helps Sanjuro for much of the game. He is eventually executed by Ryo Ishikawa.

Toshiro Makabe : Sanjuro brother, who disappeared because of several terrorist attacks before the events of the game. It is revealed that Toshiro is the leader of the Fallen, Gabriel. After the attack, he was captured and taken by Cothineal, becoming his avatar human.

Baku Ogata : A childhood friend of Sanjuro, Baku also disappeared during the terrorist attack along with Kura and Toshiro. Baku became the right hand of Gabriel, Uziel. Sanjuro will have some unpleasant encounters with this character.

Samantha Sternberg : Minion Gabriel in the ranks of Fallen. Samantha Sanjuro attacks in various parts of the game. She does not play an important role in history.

Ryo Ishikawa : The president of Shogo Inc, and arguably the main antagonist of the story. Man without scruples who manipulates both factions in the war to achieve their goals no matter the price.

Ivan Isarevich : the original leader and founder of Fallen, was killed about 10 years ago.
