Wars the Jedi of Knight star You are going: Dark Forces II of – first-person shooter , released on October 9, 1997 Lucas Arts, is based on the popular universe of Star Wars . This is the first game in the series Dark Forces, which includes multiplayer, and the first game allowing players to control a Jedi , using the Force and lightsabers . Jedi Knight also comprises rolls with live actors, which is fed through a large part of the plot.
The plot of the game offers the player to take the role of Kyle Katarn, who first appeared as a mercenary in the Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995). Jedi Knight launched a year after the events of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi . It all starts with a meeting with Kyle droid named 8t88 (or just ’88’) in the Nar Shaddaa. 88 tells Kyle that his father, Morgan Katarn, was killed by a Dark Jedi named Jerec. Data Disc, Kyle left his father, 88 steals, and Kyle chasing him through the streets of Nar Shaddaa.
After the disc return of Kyle and his companion Jan Ors returns to his father’s house and saw that the house had already studied the Imperials. He finds a lightsaber in his father’s workshop, and embarks on a journey to find his father’s killers and open in Silas. In this journey, Kyle learns that seven Dark Jedi (Yang, peak, hill, Bock, Mau, Sariss and Jerec as a leader) – the killer of his father, and receives instruction to find the Valley of the Jedi, the point of concentration of the Jedi Force.
Kyle sits on a vehicle to go in search of the Valley of the Jedi. He visits the city of Barons Hed, where fighting with several Imperial droids and other thugs. After a walk on the outskirts of the city, Kyle comes to the Imperial fortress and see how 88 finishes transmission origin of the Planet of the Jedi Jerec. Young Dark Jedi Kyle Yang prevents wipe 88. Kyle defeats John in action, but does not kill it and let go. After that, Kyle fight breaks through the castle, fighting stormtroopers and Kell dragon.
Then Kyle runs for 88 in the great imperial ship. There he finally reaches 88, but when it comes to the lifeless droid blaster, he meets with a slide and a peak (which killed 88). Two of the Dark Jedi attack Kyle, but he kills them both. Jen help Kyle out of the ship, and together they fly back to the studio Morgan. Kyle uses 8t88 head to find the way to the Valley of the Jedi.
Arriving at Ruusan, Planet of the Jedi, Kyle sneaks on Forests, battling with a lot of stormtroopers. When Kyle comes to the top of the imperial tower, he encounters Mau and gets involved with him in battle. Maw defeated, but continues to taunt Kyle’s father. Kyle tearfully kills Mau. Here comes Jherek; he took hostage Jen. Jerec tells Kyle to kill Jen, thus completing the transition to the dark side. This is the point of choice, where Kyle has to choose dark or light side.
When Kyle chooses the bright side, he saves his girlfriend, and Jerec furious uses the Force and casts Kyle. Kyle crawls away on a cargo ship, which begins to fall on the valley. Kyle sneaks on the falling ship gets to the hangar with his ship Moldy Crow and flies on it. Then barely landing and loses consciousness. He wakes up in the thrall of Sariss, Boca and Jana. Bock breaks Kyle’s lightsaber. Sariss decides to do away with it, and asks Boca Jherek announce that Kyle “will soon join his father.” Ian tries to prevent Sariss finish Kyle, but receives a fatal wound. When asked why Sariss, Ian responds, “He’s a Jedi, he has earned the battle.” Kyle takes his sword and defeats Ian Sariss.
Kyle breaks through the excavations in the Valley, picking up closer to the core. He is bound Jen and frees her, but there Bock, and Kyle have to fight him. At this time, Jerec had already entered the valley of the core of meditation. When Kyle approaching Jherek attacks. Jherek defeated, the sword fall from his hand. He asks Kyle to finish him, but instead pushes Kyle Jherek sword to him. Jherek missing sword and jumps on Kyle. Kyle cuts Jherek half. Kyle and Jen watch as soul trapped Jedi begin to fly through the Valley. When Kyle chooses the dark side, Kyle kills Jan Ors and becomes a competitor Jerec. Kyle is a falling ship and flies away to the Moldy Crow , and then lands on the planet. Instead, the battle with Sariss he again meets with Ian. Kyle sneaks through the Valley and defeats Boca. Then Kyle defeats Jerec, and become the new supreme Dark Jedi (Dark Jedi) together Sariss. This scenario – an alternative, but is not used as the main sequels. It is assumed that Kyle chose the bright side.
