Legend of Grimrock is an action role-playing game and dungeon exploration developed by the Finnish independent study Almost Human. The game is a 3D dungeon game inspired by the classic role of the 1980s and 1990s Dungeon Master , 1 Eye of the Beholder and Ultima Underworld . 2 It was released on April 11, 2012 for Microsoft Windows , and then to Mac and Linux in December.
Legend of Grimrock is the first game of Almost Human, an independent developer of four people formed in February 2011 which funded the development of the game with their own team.
Legend of Grimrock is an action role-playing game in real time. Players control a team of 1 to 4 characters moving along a dungeon in three gridded dimensions, a style of popular game role – playing game action early 1990s as Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder , in which it was inspired Legend of Grimrock .
The game consists of a combination of combat and puzzle solving. The characters in the group gain experience by killing creatures and beasts in the dungeon, enabling them to increase their levels and develop their skills to improve their combat capabilities and enable them to make new spells, and equipment is obtained through exploration and resolution puzzles along the dungeon. Many of the most complex game puzzles are designed as extra items, being optional to progress through the dungeon but provide premium items to solve them.
